Working principle of Active Lime Rotary Kiln
1. Rotary kiln belongs to rotary drum type devices. There are firebrick lining and heat exchanging device inside the barrel. It rotates in a low speed. Materials and hot flue gas exchange heat in counter-current generally. Materials are fed at the higher end ( also called the cold end or kiln end) of the kiln.
